Prompt Shoot #1

Metal
I think I achieved simplicity on this photo because this subject is obvious and nothing in the background is distracting from the motorbike.
Square
I could almost say I achieved leading lines in this photo because the lines the rocks create follow throughout the picture and you eventually lay your eyes on the square I was capturing.
Bowie
I think this might be simplicity again, or maybe not any. Though i'm not for sure.

Happy
This could possibly be framing, at least in my eyes. The focus of the rocks and the green plants in the dark background and on the side reminded me of framing.

Comments

  1. I really like your photo of squares because it is very original, and I didn't see anyone else take that photo.

  2. The motorcycle was a really creative way to show metal. I really liked it!

Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO

F2.8 F16+ A1. We closely relate aperture to the pupil (in our eye) A2. The smaller aperture will create a larger f-stop, the higher aperture will create a smaller f-stop A3. Aperture affects depth of field. Depth of field is the subject or what's in focus in the photograph. The aperture has a direct affect on the depth of field, the higher aperture number, the more focus the foreground will be in, the lower the aperture number, the more blurred the foreground will be. Low shutter speed High shutter speed Daylight Photo's: a) slow shutter speed because no motion is taking place b)Probably a medium- slow shutter speed because there could be little motion c)Probably a medium- high shutter speed because the stars are moving quickly but in light d)Again, a medium- high shutter speed because they may not be moving as quick as the stars, but are moving somewhat fast and are in daylight e)Around a medium shutter speed because no one is running in and n...

Abandoned theme parks

1) I would want to visit Six Flags, New Orleans, USA because there are six flags everywhere. And to think theres an abandoned one, that's featured on a website for most creepy, not to mention in America. That's pretty cool to me and would be fun to go visit and take pictures. 2)  3) Five unusual places to visit that I think would be fun to go to are abandoned towns, asylum's, school's, buildings, and churches. 4) this is an abandoned mental institution in Bristol. 5) I would want to document this place because I think it would make people feel something. Obviously creeped out or something like that but I bet I could find some really interesting things to photograph in there. 6) I would most likely need to fly somewhere, and I don't think I would need a really high end camera but just like the ones we use in class and maybe a tripod. I would also need to make sure no one owns the property so I would not be trespassing.

Academic Shoot

1. Balance 2. Color wheel page being colored 3. It is clear to me, other people might have a different eye and focus on the girl coloring, or the girl in the upper left corner, or the books stacked in the background. You never know 1. Avoiding merger's 2. Working students 3. Yes it is clear 1. Simplicity 2. Phone loading 3. Again, it is clear to me, but someone could easily look at the girl holding the phone, school supplies or people in the background
